Close-up view of three overlapping sheets, two black and one transparent, arranged in a vertical pattern. The texture and light reflection on the transparent sheet are visible, while the black sheets appear solid and opaque under LED lighting. The background is plain white.
A blue circle is filled with evenly spaced horizontal black lines, creating a striped pattern reminiscent of LED modules. The lines make the blue color appear as alternating light and dark blue horizontal stripes within the circle against a white background.

P53 - Phase change

High performance thermally conductive phase change

P53 is a new high-performance phase-change material. It delivers the best performance to cost available. P53 offers a low ther-mal resistance by combining minimal bondline thickness, superior wetting of mating surfaces and high thermal conductivity of 5.3 W/mK. The material begins to softens between 50°C-70°C. The bondline can decrease to as thin as 25µm.

Overview

P53 - Phase change

The specialty polymeric matrix of P53 provides superior pump-out resistance compared to conductive greases and other phase change materials. P53 remains on liners, but is easily removeable for application, offering just the right amount of tack.

P53 has been exposed to 1000 hours of various aging tests, proving dependability at an operating temperature of 125°C.
