Vacancy: Machine Operator
Job Description
To expand and strengthen our team, we are looking for a Machine Operator and Work Preparator who is entirely focused on our customers. With an interest in all available materials and a solid understanding of cutting and punching these materials, you will support our sales colleagues with expertise and assistance. This is a full-time position.
Responsibilities
- Operating punching and cutting machines independently
- Familiarizing oneself with the properties and processing methods of plastic films and thermally conductive materials
- Carefully managing and administratively processing materials, stocks, and tools, including reading drawings
- Working with customer data, drawings, machine software, and regulations
- Experimenting with new methods and finding optimal machine settings, tools, and material handling
- Measuring and assessing products, conducting First Article Inspection
- Collaborating with the sales team on new material solutions, ideal processes, and machine settings
Qualifications
- A completed MBO level 3 or 4 education in a technical field
- Minimum one year of experience as a machine operator, preferably with cutting foils or graphic die cutting
- Good command of the Dutch language and strong communication skills
- Physically capable of performing standing work
- Meticulous and accurate in work approach
- Willingness to occasionally work in a two-shift system
- Flexible and capable of working independently
